Udal Malayalam movie written and directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan. Features Dhyan Sreenivasan, Durga Krishna, and Indrans as the lead characters. The movie Udal is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies. The executive producer is Krishnamoorthy and the co-producers are VC Praveen and Baiju Gopalan.

The movie is initially planned to be produced by Hazeeb Malabar under the banner of Hazeebz Films in association with Jaiho & MGC Pvt. Ltd and finally changed from the project.

The movie's first look poster was unveiled on 7^th November 2021 through social media. The motion poster of the movie Udal was released on 28^th February 2022 through the official pages of the young stars of Mollywood.

Udal movie was released in theaters on May 20^th of 2022. And the movie Udal has been censored with an A certificate. The Malayalam film Udal is streaming soon on Zee5.

Synopsis

Shiny is a homemaker who quit her job after getting married. During the lockdown, she was stranded at her husband's house with the task of caring for her ailing mother-in-law. Shiny's life was being suffocated by the absence of home nurses. Kiran, a college junior, with whom she had an affair and discussed everything. Shiny and Kiran decide to do something one night that will allow Shiny to be free of his suffocation. Things, however, did not go as planned, and what see in the Udal movie is a succession of terrible incidents.
