Sword of Liberty which tells the life and death of Veluthampi Dalawa has released

Documentary

Sword of Liberty is a state and national award winning documentary about Velu Thampi Dalawa, directed by Shiny Jacob Benjamin and produced by RC Suresh. The film has won three national and two state awards and was released by Mollywood Lady Superstar Manju Warrier on 2^nd December 2021.

Veluthampi's tragic verdict, and he was about to fight and die against the king he served and his allies, the British. The film was shot in Nanchinadu, Kilimanoor and Kundara.

The film is shot at the viewpoint of a historian named Devaki. Nanchil Mani, an artist, has also acted as a co-traveler. How an audience can experience a very academic subject is crucial for someone who has directed a system. This is how some art forms come into the screenplay of Beeyar Prasad. Veluthampi Dalawa's demise and administrative reforms were thus made. For this, art forms like Thullal, Villadichan Pattu or Villu Paatu and Pavakkoothu were used. The songs were also penned by Beeyar Prasad himself and the music is composed by Ramesh Narayan. He also won a National Award for his music for the film.
