Maha Veeryar Malayalam fantasy movie directed by super hit director Abrid Shine after 1983, Action Hero Biju, Poomaram, and Kung Fu Master. Features Nivin Pauly and Asif Ali as the lead characters with Kannada actress Shanvi Srivastava playing the female lead. The story of the movie is by the renowned Malayalam writer M Mukundan and scripted by director Abrid Shine himself. Apart from Nivin and Asif, the movie also stars Lal, Lalu Alex, Siddique, Vijay Menon, Major Ravi, Mallika Sukumaran, Sudheer Karamana, Krishna Prasad, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Sudheer Paravoor, Kalabhavan Prajod, Pramod Veliyanad, and Shailaja P Ambu among other prominent stars. The movie Mahaveeryar is produced by young star Nivin Pauly under the banner of Pauly Jr. and Indian Movie Makers of PS Shamnas. State award-winning cinematographer Selvaraj Chandru has done the cinematography of the film Mahaveeryar. The chief associate director for the film Mahaveeryar is Baby Panicker.

Actress Mallika Sukumaran's character poster has been released on 29^th June 2022. And she plays the role of Kaladevi in the movie. Major Ravi as Veerabhaskar and Vijay Menon as Veerasimhan arrive to spearhead the war of words in the Defense Council. Prachod Kalabhavan and Sudhir Karamana to grace the silver screen as Veerabhadran and Damodaran Potti.

The music and background music of the movie Maha Veeryar is composed by Ishaan Chhabra and the sound design and final mix are done by Vishnu Govind and Sree Sankar. The lyrics of the movie are penned by BK Harinarayanan and Assanu Anna Augustine. The first song "Radhe Radhe" of the movie has released on 15^th April 2022. The song is sung by Vidhyadharan Master and Jeevan Padmakumar and the lyrics are penned by BK Hari Narayanan. The second song "Varaanaaville" full of the evergreen charm of waiting and love from Mahaveeryar is out on 2^nd July 2022. Assanu Anna Augustine penned the lyrics and the song is sung by Anwesshaa. The strings are played by Budapest Scoring Orchestra and Péter Illényi is the conductor.

Synopsis

Apoornananthan, a Sanyasi, is our main character. When he arrives at a temple in Kerala, he becomes entangled in a theft case. A king and his followers from another timeline suddenly appeared at the court while he was still arguing his case, asking for punishment for those disciples who had disobeyed the monarch's orders. Mahaveeryar's soul is shaped by the facts and judgment of that case.
