Babu John's Malayalam movie Nerchappetti released

Nerchapetti Malayalam movie is written and directed by Babu John after the Tamil film Senkurali. Newcomer Athul Suresh plays the protagonist Jomon and Naira Nihar plays the heroine role as a nun. Shyam Kodakkad, Udaya Dev, Mohan, Shaji Taliparamp, Sajeevan Parakandi, Manoj Nambiar, Vidyan Kanakathidam, Rais Puzhakkara, Biju Kalluvayal, Praseetha Aroor, Rajeev Naduvanad, Jithesh Kolayad, Sinoj Max, Rekha Sajith, Veena Pathanamthitta, Pournami Theertha, Prabudha Saneesh and Ashwani Rajeev are the other important actors. The movie Nerchappetty is produced by Udhayakumar under the banner of Ujjaayani Productions, and Gireesh Thalassery is the co-producer. Sunil Pullode and Hani Neelamuttam are writing the script for the film of the story by the director Babu John.

Although Jomon is B.Ed a graduate of the countryside, his current occupation is maintaining a fish farm near his home. He lost the girl he loved because he was the son of the butcher Kurian. Jomon approaches a Christian management school for another job. The story of the movie unfolds through the problems that arise.

The first look poster of the movie 'Nerchappetti' was released on 22 April 2022. Prominent personalities Premkumar, TS Suresh Babu, Thulasidas, Indrans, Seema G Nair, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Bijukuttan, Hareesh Kanaran, Vinod Kovoor, Manikandan R Achari, Kollam Sudhi, Kaushik Gopal and Nandu Anand in Malayalam cinema were released through their Facebook pages.

The movie Nerchapetti is shot in and around Kannur.

The music for the movie 'Nerchapetti' is composed by Geogy Thomas.

Nerchappetty movie was presented by Skygate Movies in association with Ujjaayani Productions on August 8^th 2023 in theaters.
