Otta Malayalam family drama movie is directed by Oscar winner Resul Pookutty and his directorial debut. Features Asif Ali and Arjun Ashokan as the lead characters with Indrajith Sukumaran, Sathyaraj, Adil Hussain, Indrans, Renji Panicker, Major Ravi, Suresh Kumar, Shyamaprasad, Sudheer Karamana, Baiju Pookutty, Divya Dutta, Rohini Molleti, Kannada actress Bhavana Ramanna, Lena, Mamta Mohandas, Jalaja and Devi Nair also play pivotal roles. The big-budget movie Otta is produced under the banners of Children Reunited LLP and Resul Pookutty Productions. The leading actors in Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada are in the film Otta. Based on true events, the screenplay of the film Otta is written by Kiran Prabhakar.

Arun Varma is the film cinematographer of "Otta". The executive producers of Otta are Aroma Mohan and V Shekhar and the associate directors are Uday Sankaran and Boss V.

The thrilling tale of two young people and their path to an unforeseen future is told in the family drama "Otta. Harry and Ben leave their house after a fight with their parents in order to start a journey before their lives get out of hand. They then come to realize how quickly time is passing. The events and changes in their lives are covered in the movie. Asif Ali plays Hari, Arjun Ashokan plays Ben, and Indrajith plays Raju in the movie.

The first look poster of the movie 'Otta' was unveiled on 13^th April 2022 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kochi.

The soundtrack for the movie is being created by M Jayachandran which has five songs, and the songs are crucial. Both Vairamuthu and Rafeeq Ahamed wrote the songs. The songs in Otta have been performed by well-known singers, including M Jayachandran, P Jayachandran, Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Mahadevan, Jassy Gift, Benny Dayal, and Alphonse. The singers of song no.1 are P Jayachandran and Benny Dayal.

Otta movie was hit the Big Screen on October 27^th of 2023 by Century Release.

Synopsis

The lead protagonist Hari has a close friend named Ben. Hari's father was a very poisonous individual who never trusted him and always attempted to exert control over him. Ben was raised by his single mother, who was always on the go. When they reach a point where they are unable to cope with their parents any longer, they both decide to flee, and the film Otta follows their dramatic trip.
