Can Short Film Festival 2022, the Highest prize money in Indian short film history
2 lakhs for the best short film, Santhosh Sivan ISC Jury Chairman
Renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan ISC is the Jury Chairman. This is the first time Santosh Sivan has been a part of a jury. The jury members are directors and screenwriters AK Sajan, Anil Radhakrishnan Menon, and actress Shweta Menon.
Short films should be not less than 12 minutes and not more than 28 minutes. Only short films that have not been uploaded on YouTube can participate in the competition. The entry fee is Rs 3000 (+GST). Pre-registration will start on 30th October 2022. You can register at csff.canchannels.com. The last date for submission of short films is 20-12-2022. The awards will be distributed at a mega event in Ernakulam in mid-January 2023. Famous stars of Malayalam cinema and technical workers will also participate in the event.
The Can channel also provides an opportunity for any three people including the technical staff and stars of the short film who get an official entry to have a direct discussion with the jury members.
Suresh Gopi presented the logo of the Can Short Film Festival to Indrans. The ceremony was held at Suresh Gopi's office in Thiruvananthapuram.
