Synopsis
Maathappan is a thief who has a horrible reputation but little success in committing theft. He decided to commit suicide if his last robbery, which he had planned for his birthday, went wrong. The heist was unsuccessful, but that evening he encountered Priya, a girl who dared him to steal a Bhagavathy idol from an abandoned old temple. Maathappan is compelled to accept the challenge of the life-or-death situation. What we see in Kallanum Bhagavathiyum are the subsequent events in Maathappan's life.
