Vallicherupp Malayalam movie is directed by Sreebharathi. Features Bijoy Kannur (Uday Raj), who is well-known to Tamilians for the 2019 Tamil film Reel, is playing the lead role in Vallicheruppu. Chinnusree Valsalan, a native of Kannur, who was accepted by the audience through Asianet Plus, is the heroine. The grandchild is played by Master Finn Bijoy, who made his debut with "Kanavile Sultan" directed by SR Shiva Rudran, which was selected as the second-best music video album of 2020. Kochu Preman, Sajan Surya, Anoop Sivasevan, Divya Sridhar, and SR Shiva Rudran play the other lead characters in the film. The movie Vallicheruppu is produced by Suresh CN under the banner of Sreemuruka Movie Makers. The screenplay for the film Vallicheruppu is written by director Sreebharathi herself with the dialogues by Devika LS from the story of Bijoy Kannur.

Vallicheruppu is a journey through the different levels of a grandfather-grandson relationship. Actor Bijoy plays the role of a 70-year-old through a makeover in the film 'Vallicheruppu'. Grandson is played by Master Finn Bejoy and Chinnusree Valsalan, who was accepted by the audience through Asianet Plus, will be the heroine. The director has created the moments in the film without diminishing the depth and breadth of family relationships. The shooting of the film Vallicheruppu has been completed in Vellayani, a suburb of Thiruvananthapuram, and surrounding areas.

The music for the film Vallicheruppu is composed by George Joseph (Jojo), husband of singer and MLA Daleema with the lyrics by Harikrishnan Vandakathil. The songs are sung by Iqbal Kannur, Finn Bijoy, Fathima, Priya Baiju.
