The story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film Thirayattam were written by director Sajeev himself, who wrote the screenplays of Kannaki, Aswaroodan, and Anandabhairavi.

Prasanth Madhav is the DOP of the movie Thirayattam with Ratheesh Raj as the Editor. Pramod Payyoli is the Chief Associate Director, and Ajith Maithreyan is the Associate Cameraman. Thirayatham tells the tale of rhythms against the backdrop of rhythm melas. The account of a Peruvian who passed away before he could express his feelings for love, romance, and life. This is the first time a narrative like this has been adapted into a Malayalam movie.

Jijo Gopi is playing the lead role of Vishwan Malayan in this movie called Thirayattam. This is the movie featuring Jijo Gopi that came after Nippa. The song "Mazha Mukil Mala Charthi" is penned by Nithin K Cheriyan, and the music of this song and the background score of the film is composed by Ebin Pallichan. The songs are sung by Madhu Balakrishnan, Reeja, Nithya Mammen, Renu Chandra, Mithila, etc,. with the orchestration of Kamarudheen Keechery. Asneesh is the choreographer of the movie Thirayattam.

Synopsis

With the village's Malayan, Vishwan is playing Theyam. Viswan also develops feelings for Paru, a Malayan daughter. However, Paru prefers Gopinathan, who works overseas. Vishwan makes the decision that he won't stop drinking until Paru expresses her feelings for him. Vishwan is kicked out of his gang by Malayan for abusing Paru. The Parus family's financial situation worsened when Malayan passed away. When it wasn't fulfilled, Paru started to transform into a deity. Paru didn't understand that Gopinathan was cheating on her until he returned to the village.

After Parus gets the epidemic and is left by everyone, Vishwan rushes to his aid and takes care of him in his own way. But she died as a result. In desperation, Vishwan accepted death in the fire, but he assaulted those who denied him the opportunity to play Theyyam.
