Kaantha which is slated to be a pan-Indian movie is directed by Selvamani Selvaraj. The film Kaantha features Dulquer Salmaan, Rana Daggubati, Samuthirakani, and Bhagyashri Borse as the lead. The massive multilingual movie Kaantha is produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films in association with Spirit Media led by Rana Daggubati. Prashanth Potluri and Jom Varghese are also part of the production. Tamizh Prabha wrote the script for Kaantha.

South Indian Superstar Dulquer Salmaan's Kaantha began after the pan-Indian film Lucky Bhaskar on 8 September 2024. Selvamani Selvaraj, who rose to prominence with the Netflix documentary series "The Hunt for Veerappan" is the director of Kaantha. The film's pooja rituals took place in Hyderabad's Rama Naidu Studios. "Kaantha" is also the first Pan-Indian production by Wayfarer Films, a Mollywood film production company that has made several good films. A narrative set in 1950s Madras that speaks to modern emotions is the backdrop for Kaantha. And the collaboration of two creative powerhouses (Dulquer / Rana) for an epic tale.

Dulquer Salmaan announced the Pan-Indian film Kaantha on 28^th July 2023. Selvamani Selvaraj, who has worked on films like Life of Pi, and pan-Indian actor Dulquer Salmaan collaborate in the movie, which has huge expectations.

Kaantha movie is being made in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages. The crew informed that other information about Kanta will be announced in the coming days. At the same time, Dulquer's Onam release King of Kotha's item song Kalankara is making waves on social media.
