The Jengaburu Curse, a Hindi web series starring renowned actor cum model Sudev Nair, will be broadcast on Sony Liv on the ninth of this month. The Jengaburu Curse is Nila Madhab Panda's first OTT project. He previously directed the socially conscious films I Am Kalam and Kadvi Hawa.

The web series explores Odisha's illegal mining industry, unexplained fatalities, and uprooted communities. The unexpected revelations that a young woman named Priya makes while looking for her absent father serve as the basis for the novel. Faria Abdullah portrays Priya. Together with Sudev Nair, other actors playing the key roles include Nassar, Makarand Deshpande, Deepak Sampath, and Hitesh Dave. The narrative was written by Mayank Tiwari.

Sudev Nair has starred in films like Abrahaminte Santhathikal, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Bheeshma Parvam, CBI 5, Thuramukham, Pathonpatham Noottandu, and Kotthu. In 2014, he won the State Award for Best Actor for his work in the movie My Life Partner. Sudev also played the lead role in the Bollywood film India's Most Wanted opposite Arjun Kapoor.

With Ravi Teja, Jr. NTR, Pawan Kalyan, and Nithin in Telugu, Sasikumar in Tamil, and Ratheesh Reghunandan's Dileep in Malayalam, Sudev is currently acting.
