Idiyan Chandhu is a Malayalam movie directed by Sreejith Vijayan. Synopsis

Chandhu had a very difficult upbringing. He witnessed his father abusing his mother and, subsequently, witnessed his father being killed by a group of thugs. This more violent form of Chandhu was created when many people provoked him when he didn't respond in particular circumstances. However, violence eventually causes problems for the family, and we witness the part of Chandhu's life where he chooses to abstain from violence to honor his mother's pledge.
