Thanupp is a Malayalam movie written and directed by Cinematographer Ragesh Narayanan. The film features newcomers Nidheesh Iritty and Jibiya TC as the lead characters. The movie Thanupp is produced by Anu Ananthan and Dr. Lakshmi under the banner of Kashi Cinemas and is the first production from the label. Koottickal Jayachandran, Arun A Kumar, Ranjith Mannarkkad, Shiney Sarah, Prinu Padiyoor, Arubala, Satheesh Gopi, Sam Jeevan, Sambhu Ratheesan, Radhakrishnan Thalachangad, Shanu Mithra, Jishnu Unnikrishnan, Diseema Divakaran, Sumith Samudra and Manoharan Vellilode are also in the cast list.

The creative director of the film Thanupp is Rajesh K Raman and the project designer is Shanu Mithra. The chief associate director of the film is Jamnas Muhammed and the associate director is Yadhukrishna Deyakumar.

Manorama Music released the first song from the film 'Thanupp' by cinematographer Ragesh Narayanan on 1 March 2024. The song was released with the lyrics penned by Vivek Muzhakkunnu and Biji Bal's student Bibin Ashok composed the music and the song starts with "Angulangale Virayathuyaru..." sung by Bijibal.

The songs for 'Thanupp' have been bagged by Manorama Music. Bijibal's disciple Bibin Ashok is making his debut as a music director through Thanupp with lyrics by Vivek Muzhakkunnu. The singers are Bijibal, Kapil Kapilan, Janaki Easwar and Sreenanda Sreekumar.

Thanupp movie has completed shooting in Kannur, Wayanad, Ernakulam, Chennai, and Coorg and will soon hit the screens.
