Thiruvananthapuram: Dharna organized by Nanma District Committee of Thiruvananthapuram District Committee of National Association of Malayalam Artists 'Nanma' was inaugurated by State President Xavier Pulpatt. State Working President Wilson Samuel presided and the MLA IB Satheesh delivered the speech.

Relaxation of microphone ban after 10 pm for artistic performances, giving one more chance to artists after 60 years of age to join the welfare fund, forming artist cooperative societies district-wise to ensure employment for artists, increase welfare fund benefits, allocate money in the state budget to welfare fund, give benefits to welfare fund members without delay, give more people a chance in diamond jubilee fellowship are the dharna raised demands.
