Dheeran Malayalam movie is written and directed by Devadath Shaji and is his directorial debut. The movie Dheeran is produced by Lakshmi Warrier and Ganesh Menon under the banner of Cheers Entertainments. ~~(ads)~~

The cinematography for the movie is being handled by Harikrishnan Lohithadas, the son of director and screenwriter Lohithadas. Urban Motion Pictures, UVR Movies, and John P Abraham are the co-producers. Finn George Varghese is handling the edit and the creative direction. Sudheesh Ramachandran is the chief associate director. The title of Dheeran is designed by Abhilash Chacko.

On social media, Devadath Shaji posted the movie's title poster for Dheeran on 17 June 2024. It's Devadath's first time directing. In the past, Devadath contributed to movies as a co-director and screenwriter.

Following "Bheeshma Parvam" by Amal Neerad, Devadath wrote the script for Dheeran as well. This is the first movie that the team Ganesh Menon and Lakshmi Warrier has produced together; the others are "Vikrithi" "Jan. E. Man", "Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey", and "Falimy".

Synopsis

Malayattoor serves as the backdrop for the narrative. Eldhose, also known as Dheeran, our main character, resides there, and he doesn't get along with most of the villagers. A group of individuals from Dheeran's village once had to travel to Denkanikottai, Tamil Nadu, to retrieve the body of someone who had perished in an accident. ~~(ads)~~In Devadath Shaji's directorial debut, we witness the events that transpire during that journey and how they are all related to Eldhose.
