Aaranyam: A film with the Chakkulathukavu Temple as its backdrop
The world-famous Chakkulathukavu Sree Bhagavathy Temple serves as the backdrop for the film Aaranyam. The first look poster for the film was unveiled at the temple. The unveiling was carried out by Managing Trustee Brahmasree Manikuttan Namboodiri and Chief Karyadarshi Brahmasree Radhakrishnan Thirumeni of Chakkulathukavu.
The film Aaranyam presents the conflicted story of Madhavan Nair of Puthoor Tharavad, Lakshmiamma's son Vishnu, and Raghavan Nair, who is a great devotee of the goddess, and Kumaran Nair's daughter Shalini. Saji Soman portrays Vishnu, the son of Madhavan Nair and Lakshmi Amma of Puthoor Tharavad. Madhavan Nair and Lakshmiamma pray to Goddess Chakkulathukavu for Vishnu's bright future.
Raghavan Nair (Lonappan Kuttanad), a devout devotee of the deity, adopted an orphan girl named Rama to make up for his lack of children. The young lady grew up and got married. However, Raghavan Nair, her husband, and her daughter were cast into the temple after a long time. The Nairs' next life took place within the temple. He survived by shouting the goddess's praises and consuming food from the shrine.
Divya is going to portray Kumaran Nair's daughter, Shalini. Vishnu's girlfriend, Shalini is portrayed by Saji Soman.
The backdrop of the well-known Chakkulathukavu Bhagavathi Temple is being used for the movie 'Aaranyam'. The Chakkulathukavu temple hosted the pooja for this movie, known as Aranyam. Bhadradeepam was demonstrated by the Chief Priest of Chakkulathukavu, Brahmashree Radhakrishnan Namboothiri. The switch-on was led by managing trustee Brahmashree Manikuttan Thirumeni. After that, the filming began.
