Agent Pan Indian spy thriller movie is written and directed by stylish maker Surender Reddy. Features South Indian young star Akhil Akkineni as the titular character 'Agent' with Malayalam megastar Mammootty and Sakshi Vaidya. The movie Agent is produced under the banner of AK Entertainments of Rambrahmam Sunkara and Surender 2 Cinema. The story for the film Agent is written by Vakkantham Vamsi. The cinematographer of the movie is Rasool Ellore, National Award winner Naveen Nooli is the editor, and Kolla Avinash the art director. Ajay Sunkara and Pathi Deepa Reddy are the co-producers of the film Agent and Kishore Garikipati is the executive producer.

Akhil Akkineni, who plays an agent in the film, created waves on social media for his character's look. The stylishly shot action sequences will be one of the major attractions of the film Agent. The film Agent is distributed in Kerala by Yulin Productions headed by Akhil and Ashiq. The movie was initially planned to be released on 24 December 2021 and was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The movie Agent was planned to stream from 29 September 2023 on Sony Liv and postponed the release due to a conflict with the producer and the distributor.
