Anwar Malayalam action thriller movie is directed by Amal Neerad. The film Anwar features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mamta Mohandas as the lead alongside Prakash Raj and Lal. The movie Anwar is produced by Raj Zacharias and Rijo Zacharias. The screenplay for the film was written by the director Amal himself and the dialogues are by R Unni and D Sreejith.

Gopi Sundar composed the music for the film Anwar, and Rafeeq Ahamad penned the lyrics. Dinesh and Gayathri Raghuram choreographed the dance numbers in the movie.

Amal Neerad's Anwar movie will be re-released in 4K on October 25, 2024. The film was initially released in theaters by Celebs & Red Carpet on October 15, 2010.
