According to the crew, Kaithi 2 will be coming soon
Kaithi has been in theaters for five years, 25 October 2019. In a social media post, Dream Warrior Pictures and director Lokesh Kanagaraj implied that the second installment will not be postponed. Lokesh posted a location still of Kaithi with Karthi on social media, writing, "It all started from here. Grateful to Karthi and SR Prabu and the ‘universe’ for making this happen. Dilli will return soon, Lokesh Kanagaraj writes.
Karthi has previously stated that the movie would begin production the following year. During a Hyderabad event promoting his upcoming movie Meiyazhagan, Karthi responded to a question on Kaithi 2. In Tamil, Kaithi 2 has frequently been at the top of the list of highly anticipated movies. The crew said that in the days ahead, more information about the movie will be made public.
