Black is a mystery thriller movie written and directed by KG Balasubramani. The film Black features Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar as the lead along with Vivek Prasanna, Yog Japee, Sha Ra, and Swayam Siddha. The movie Black is produced by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabhu, P Gopinath, and Thanga Prabaharan R under the banner of Potential Studios LLP. The screenplay of the mystery thriller Black that unfolds in one night was written by the director himself.

The romantic comedy 'Varalaru Mukkiyam' which came out in 2022, was Jiiva's most recent release in Kollywood. Following that, 'Black' will mark Jeeva's return to Tamil. Jeeva acted in the Telugu film Yatra 2.

The music for the film 'Black' is composed by Sam CS and the lyrics are by Madhan Karky and Chandru. The dance choreographer of Black is Indian choreographer Sherif.

Synopsis

Vasanth and Aaranya are the subjects of this tale. The couple chose to spend a lovely weekend at a villa they had reserved far from the city, even though it wasn't fully done. They discovered that there was another house on the site with tenants when they were living alone in that villa, and some strange things began to happen. In Black, we see the mystery of the house and the couple's survival on that solitary, horrific night.
