Synopsis

The heartwarming true story of Chellamma Antharjanam, an elderly Namboodiri woman from Central Kerala, and Raziya Beevi, a Muslim local body member, who became friends ten years ago is told in the Malayalam film Thanichalla Njan. The film tells the tale of Ms. Antharjanam, who was saved ten years ago by Ms. Beevi from the railway track in Ambalappuzha. The societal issues that the latter encountered in the ensuing years are also covered.
