Kirata: In The Dread of Night is a Malayalam action thriller movie directed by newcomer Roshan Konni. The film Kirata features Chembil Ashokan, Dr. Rajith Kumar, Aristo Suresh, Neena Kurup, Jeeva Nambiar, Vaikha Rose, Sachin Palaparambil, Anwar, Amruth, Shameer Bin Karimrawther, Muhammad Shifnaz, Manurag R, Srikanth Chikku, Prince Varghese, GK Panicker, SR Khan, Ashokan, Arjun Chandra, Hari G Unnithan, Minnu Merin, Atulya Nadarajan, Shikha Manoj, Ann Mary, Arsha Reddy, Master Ian Roshan, Baby Fabia Anas Khan, Malavika, Nayana Balakrishnan, Maya Sridhar, Karthika Sriraj, Manju Mariam Abraham, Fouzi Guruvayur, Shibila Shamsu Kollam, Lekha B, Bindu Pattazhy, Kavitha, Prasanna PJ, Sheju Mol V, Sebastian Monachan, Ansu Konni, George Thomas, Binu Konni, Venu Krishnan Kodumon, Jayamon J Chenneerkara, Dhanesh Kottakunnu, Uthaman Aranmula, Radhakrishnan Nair, Sunny, Binu Talens, along with producer Edathody Bhaskaran in a guest role. The movie Kirata is produced under the auspices of Edathody Films Pvt. Ltd. Ottapalam by Edathody Bhaskaran (Bahrain). The script for the movie was created by Jitta Roshan, director Roshan's wife.

Director Roshan Konni himself handled the camera and editing of Kirata. The screenplay of the film is written by Jitta Roshan from the story of and is also the co-director. Shyam Aravind and Kalesh Kumar Konni are the chief associate directors.

The Thiruvananthapuram Nila Theatre hosted the first look poster release for the action and thriller Kirata, which was created with the fervor and enthusiasm of the younger generation. Edathody Bhaskaran, the film's producer, received the poster from renowned director Thulasidas during the release event. The first-look trailer was then shown as well.

Among those present were MR Gopakumar, Kazhakoottam Assistant Commissioner of Police Dinil JK, Dinesh Panicker, Pandalam Balan, Yadu Krishnan, along with the film's director Roshan Konni, associate directors Kalesh Konni, Shyam Aravindam, scriptwriter Jitta Basheer, and other team members.

With the film Kiratha, young director Roshan Konni has produced a fantastic action thriller that captures the passion and fervor of the younger generation. The movie is based on a plot that developed over time from a wife's and her husband's thoughts. By incorporating the current happenings in their surroundings, they have produced a good action thriller film.

A gang of young lovers that delves into the AchanKovil River's mysteries. The lovers had to endure terrifying days and nights after arriving in Achankovilar with music and dances. New faces play key parts in this film, which masterfully depicts the rural settings and the natural beauty of Konni. The movie also has well-known Malayalam and Tamil actors. The audience will be treated to new scenes of romance, conflict, and the young twins' dread that take place in the picturesque country of Kodumkadu.

Following Pooja, the film's production gets underway. The mysteries of the AchanKovil River will serve as the backdrop for the horror movie Kirata. New actors play the main parts in the film, which masterfully depicts the rural settings and Konni's aesthetics. The movie also has well-known Tamil and Malayalam actors. The audience will have a novel experience with the young twins' love, battle, and terror moments set against the stunning backdrop of a thick forest.

The music for the film 'Kirata' is composed by Sajith Shankar, and the lyrics are by Manoj Kulathingal, Murali Moothedam, and Aristo Suresh. Balram Ottappalam, Nimmi Chakkingal, and Aristo Suresh are the singers. Everyone will be drawn to Aristo Suresh's distinctive song as well. The dance choreographer of Kirata is Shameer Bin Karim Rawther.

The filming for the movie Kirata is underway in Konni and Achankovil.
