Ottakkomban is a Malayalam movie directed by rookie Mathews Thomas Plammoottil. The title character of Ottakkomban is featured by Suresh Gopi. Abhinaya portrays the female lead in the film. The other key actors in the movie include Lal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Lalu Alex, Kabir Duhan Singh, Indrajith Sukumaran, Johnny Antony, Biju Pappan, and Meghana Raj. Ottakkomban, directed by Mathews Thomas and produced by Sri Gokulam Gopalan of Sree Gokulam Movies, started its second phase at Thodupuzha on Monday, 21 April 2025. A scene with Suresh Gopi, Poojappura Radhakrishnan, Vanchiyoor Praveen, Gopan Guruvayoor, Raj Mohan, and other younger performers kicked off the filming at the Arakulam Sri Dharmasastha Sri Mahadeva Temple.

In January 2025, the initial stage of filming was finished at Thiruvananthapuram. Since Suresh Gopi, who plays the film's protagonist, is preoccupied with his formal responsibilities as a Union Minister as well as the Vishu and Easter festivities, the second phase of filming has started. The filming in Thodupuzha, Pala, Bharananganam, and Erattupetta is expected to continue till the end of June. The movie will thereafter be filmed in Macao, Malaysia, and other places. According to the dates available during Mr. Suresh Gopi's professional activities, executive producer Krishnamoorthy told us that the filming will be finished as soon as feasible.
