The film Balan The Boy was showcased with a market screening at the Marché du Film during the Cannes Film Festival on 14 May 2026. The directors of Manjummel Boys and Aavesham are joining hands for the film (Chidambaram - Jithu Madhavan).

Balan movie was released in theaters on June 19, 2026, in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. The digital rights of Balan The Boy have been acquired by ZEE5 Malayalam, premieres on 31 July 2026, and the satellite rights by Zee Keralam.

Synopsis
