Suriya 47, a movie directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan. The film features Tamil actor Suriya as the lead. Zhagaram Studios, led by actress Jyothika, is producing the film. Aside from Suriya, Malayalam actor Naslen plays an important role in the film, which also features Nazriya Nazim. The film's other stars are John Vijay and Anand Raj. (ads)

Suriya 47, by Jithu Madhavan and starring Tamil actor Suriya, began with a pooja ceremony in Chennai on 7 December 2025. The film's staff and prominent cast attended the pooja ceremony. Aside from the film's team, actors Karthi, Rajsekar Pandian (2D Entertainment), SR Prakash, and SR Prabhu (Dream Warrior Pictures) attended the pooja ceremony and wished the film well.

Suriya47 is Jithu Madhavan's debut Tamil film, following his previous work on Romancham and Aavesham. He expressed his pleasure and happiness over making his debut in a new industry.

Sushin Shyam, a Malayalam music director, composed the film's music.
