Veyil is a Malayalam thriller movie. Starring Shane Nigam, Shine Tom Chacko, James Elia, Merin Jose, Bitto Davis, Sona Olickal, Geethi Sangeetha, and Sudhhy Kopa in the lead. Directed by newcomer Sarath Menon. The cinematography of the film is by Shah Mohammad and edited by Praveen Prabhakar. Produced by Joby George under the Goodwill Entertainment banner.

Sarath Menon has previously worked as an assistant to Lijo Jose Pellissery in 'Angamaly Diaries' and 'Ee.Ma.Yau'.

Veyil movie was shot after much controversy. Prithviraj Sukumaran released the title poster of the movie on 7^th July 2019 through his Facebook page. The film has got the clean 'U' certificate on 9^th December 2020 by the Censor board.

Veyil movie was released in theaters on February 25^th of 2022. The movie was planned to release in theaters on 28^th January 2022 and was postponed due to requests from the theater owners and considering the health of the audience. Earlier the movie was planned for theater release on June 4^th of 2021 and was postponed due to the Covid19 lockdown. The Veyil movie streaming on 15^th April 2022 through Amazon Prime Videos.
