Udumbu Malayalam thriller action movie. Features Senthil Krishna (Senthil Rajamani), Hareesh Peradi, Alencier Ley Lopez, and Sajal Sudarshan in the lead roles with the newcomers Angelina Livingston and Yami Sona are the heroines. Manraj, Baiju, Mohammad Faisal, Jibin Saab, Paul Thadikaran, and Shreya Iyer are also in the movie. Bruce lee Rajesh is the stunt director of the action-packed movie. Shiju Muppathadam and Sreejith Sivanandan are dance choreographers. The movie Udumbu is produced under the banner of 24 Motion Films in association with KT Movie House.

Kannan Thamarakkulam is the director after 'Achayans', 'Chanakya Thanthram', 'Pattabhiraman' and 'Vidhi: The Verdict'. Newcomers Aneesh Sahadevan and Sreejith Sasidharan are co-writing the script. Ravichandran is the cinematographer and cuts by VT Sreejith. 24 Motion Films and KT Movie House jointly produced the film.

Kallu Pattu was released in april 2021 and now the remix version also released on 9^th December 2021. The lyrics by Rajeev Alunkal and composed by Sanand George, singer is Imran Khan. The song went viral on that days. Director Kannan Thamarakulam wanted a remix of the song before its theatrical release and calls Hareesh Peradi and Alencier to sing the remix song.

Udumb's title poster was released by actor Jayasurya on 11^th December 2020 through social media handles. Actor Dulquer Salmaan launched the first look poster on 29^th December 2020. Actor Kunchacko Boban has released the official trailer of the movie 'Udumbu' through his official Facebook page on 6^th November 2021. The major locations of the movie are Thiruvananthapuram, Chottanikkara, Ernakulam and Varapuzha.

Udumbu is the first film to be remade into other Indian languages before its release in Malayalam. The Hindi Orginal remake rights have been acquired by Maruti Trading Company and Sunshine Music, they plan to start filming in Bollywood by the end of 2021. The Hindi remake was also directed by Kannan Thamarakulam himself.

Udumbu movie was released in over 150 theaters on December 10^th of 2021 by Karthikeyan Cinemass through Sree Senthil Pictures. On 2^nd January 2022 @ 12.30 PM the world television premiere of the movie Udumb on Surya TV.
