Ottu Malayalam thriller movie directed by Fellini TP. Starring Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swami with Telugu actress Eesha Rebba is the heroine. Jackie Shroff will also be playing the lead role in Arvind Swamy's Malayalam movie after 25 years. Produced by Arya and Shaji Nadesan under the banner of August Cinema in association with Cineholix. Aadukalam Naren, Amanda Lis, Jins Baskar, Siyad Yadu, and Aneesh Gopal are the other prominent stars in the movie. The screenplay of the movie Ottu is penned by S Sanjeev.

The pooja ceremony was held on 24^th March 2021 and the shooting started in Goa. Other major locations are Mumbai and Mangalore.

The video song of the movie of Kunchacko Boban's love song with lip-lock scenes with his girlfriend was released on Valentine's day 14^th February 2022. Chackochan's romantic melody is sung by singer Shwetha Mohan. The audience said that Chackochan was seen again in the singing scene as the chocolate hero. The music is composed by AH Kaashif with the lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar.

Ottu movie was released in theaters on September 8^th of 2022. The movie was planned to release on September 2^nd of 2022 and was postponed. The Malayalam film Ottu is streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Manorama MAX, Saina Play, and Simply South - overseas only from 6^th October 2022 in Malayalam and Tamil languages.
