Kaadakalam Malayalam movie directed by Sakhil Raveendran. Features Master Da Vinci Satheesh, who has proved his presence in Mollywood in a very short period of time, and film star and theatre artist Satish Kunnoth will play the lead roles. Produced under the banner of Periyar Valley Creations. The screenplay was written by Jinto Thomas and director Sagil jointly. The film stars Kottayam Purushan and other actors in the lead roles.

The song that starts with "Kaniye" has already caught the attention of the audience. The song is composed by PS Jayhari with lyrics by BK Harinarayan and sung by music director and singer Bijibal.

Kadakalam is a story about the existence of the forest, the problems of the Adivasis, and the intensity of the father-son relationship. The movie has already won several awards.

Most of the film was shot in the inner forest around Idukki Dam.

Kaadakalam movie was digital premiere on September 23^rd of 2021 on Amazon UK and US platforms, distributed by Collective Frames. The film will be released in India soon.
