12th Man: Unveiling the Shadows Malayalam mystery thriller movie is directed by Jeethu Joseph. Features Mohanlal as the lead character with Saiju Govinda Kurup, Unni Mukundan, Priyanka Nair, Anu Sithara, Sshivada, Aditi Ravi, Anu Mohan, Anusree, Chandhunadh G, Leona Lishoy. Produced by Antony Perumbhavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas and Santhy Antony is the executive producer. Satheesh Kurup handles the camera and VS Vinayak on the edit table for the film. The chief associate director for the film is Sony G Solomon and the co-directors are Arfaz Ayub and Sudheesh Ramachandran. The screenplay and dialogues of the movie 12th Man are written by KR Krishnakumar from the story Sunir Kheterpal, an Indian film Producer.

Jeethu took more than two years to complete the screenplay for the classic mystery film, which is based on the usual genres of Agatha Christie's detective novels. Unlike usual, Jeethu Joseph took another person's script.

The complete actor Mohanlal announced the movie 12th Man on 5^th July of 2021 through his social media handles. The main location for the '12th Man' movie is a hillside resort in Idukki. During the Covid period, the filming was completed with a very large cast, overcoming many obstacles. A few scenes have also been shot in Ernakulam.

The song and original background score for the film '12th Man' are composed by Anil Johnson with the lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar and the sound design by Sinoy Joseph.

12th Man movie was released on May 20^th of 2022 in Disney Plus Hotstar Multiplex as an OTT release by Aashirvad Release. Asianet is the satellite partner of the movie 12th Man.

The Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph duo scored a hat-trick victory in '12th Man' with some great comments without breaking the routine again. On the eve of Mohanlal's 62^nd birthday on May 21, the mob=vie '12th Man' has released by Disney Hotstar. The critical acclaim and audience are giving a huge birthday present to the Malayalees' own 'Lalettan'. Drishyam and Drishyam 2 films became a new milestone in the business equation of Malayalam cinema including Pan India. The thriller was remade in the Chinese language which created a huge wave of all time. Even then, there were high hopes and hype for the third thriller to be reunited with Hatrick. That's why Disney Hotstar has come up with huge marketing plans for the movie. For all these reasons, there was a lot of concern among the audience about the quality of the film. But once again, the megahit partnership continues to thrive on a level where all concerns are blown to smithereens. Jeethu Joseph and other prominent actors of the film also took part in the campaign, including television and online programs including Mohanlal's Bigg Boss Season 4 on Asianet. Disney Hotstar then created a new high-tech level for the campaign by launching a separate online game based on the film on social media. The film is gaining popularity all over the world, with a huge audience response from outside Kerala to Pan India even a day after its release.

This is the second time this year that Aashirvad has come across OTT success through Disney Plus Hotstar. In January, Mohanlal and Prithviraj teamed up again after Lucifer to release 'Bro Daddy', the second most-watched film on the release day in Hotstar's history in India. This year, Aashirvad productions are all set to release some very promising films in different genres like Monster, Alone, and Barroz. Apart from these, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph have teamed up again for the fourth time for the big-budget action thriller 'Ram'. According to reports, the cast and crew are preparing to go abroad for the final shoot without removing the uncertainties that have existed in the production due to Covid issues for several days.

Synopsis

For a bachelor celebration, a bunch of buddies and their partners are staying at a resort. An unidentified man enters the party and begins to ruin the atmosphere. The buddies agreed to play a game to break up the monotony, however, this resulted in numerous revelations. One of the companions died the same night. The 12th Man is trying to figure out whether that death was a homicide or a suicide.
