Vaashi Malayalam thriller movie directed by Vishnu G Raghav, a notable young Malayalam actor. Features Tovino Thomas and popular south Indian heroine Keerthy Suresh as the lead characters. The movie Vaashi is produced by G Suresh Kumar under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir. Menaka Suresh and Revathy Suresh are the co-producers of the movie and the executive producer is Nithin Mohan. Anu Mohan, Baiju Santosh, Nandu, G Suresh Kumar, Kottayam Ramesh, Dr. Rony David, Vanitha Krishnachandran, Dr. Arya, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam fame Anagha Narayanan, Sreelakshmi, Mithun M Dan, Vinod Thomas, Amaldev, Maya Viswanath, Krishnan Balakrishnan, Seema Nair, RJ Raghu Akka Raghu Subhash Chandran, Armitha Anish, Geethi Sangeetha, and Anagha Ashok are also playing the lead roles. The screenplay is by the director himself and the story is by Janiz Chacko Simon.

Inside the courtroom, lawyers work hard to win their cases. They will even try to skillfully test all the arrows in their arrows for the success of their clients. They often clash with each other through arguments. The strength and context of the case, the importance of the cases, and the relevance of the plaintiffs are increasing. Here, the movie presents the story of two such lawyers in a perfect thriller mood, Ebin Mathew and Madhavi Mohan are the lawyers. The characters are played by Tovino Thomas and famous South Indian actor Keerthy Suresh. Keerthy is coming to Mollywood after a long time and her recent Malayalam movie is Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham.

Director Vishnu G Raghav is the son of Shri R Gopalakrishnan, President of FEFCA Photographers Union.

From Acting to Direction

Vishnu G Raghav is an actor who has acted in lead roles in a few films and shined as a villain and co-star. In the meanwhile, Vishnu is ready to take the track one by one. In the beginning, when he did not get enough consideration, the BTech guy started wondering if the track would change. Vishnu has worked for only two months on what he had learned. After acting in a few movies, he made two short films. Editor cum director Mahesh Narayanan and others gave a lot of encouragement for this. Through this he gets an opportunity to direct an advertisement film then he started to get opportunities one after another. In this context actor cum producer Maniyanpilla Raju inspired Vishnu to direct a movie and it gave him more courage.

The project turns on after the script is completed and Tovino is cast. Keerthy Suresh also came as the heroine after producer Suresh took over the project. G Suresh Kumar is approached through Sandip Senan. It is safe to say that Keerthy's entry made the movie even bigger. Director Vishnu G Raghav and Tovino Thomas have started their acting careers together and they can maintain good intimacy. The movie has received a great deal of support from Tovino.

Although the movie tells the story of two lawyers it is a perfect family film. The fight in a perfect family drama, and courtroom unites them together. Later, the film goes into the problems that they face in their lives.

Kailas Menon composed the music with the lyrics of Vinayak Sasikumar for the movie Vaashi and the audio rights were bagged by Think Music.

The shooting of the movie started on 17^th November 2021 in Thiruvananthapuram and the filming of the film has been completed in Trivandrum.

The first look poster of the movie Vaashi is unveiled on 19^th February 2022.

Vaashi movie was released in theaters by Urvasi Theatres in association with Remya Movies on June 17^th of 2022. The digital streaming of the movie Vaashi is on Netflix on the 17^th of July 2022 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages.

Synopsis

Ebin Mathew and Madhavi are close friends and lawyers. Everyone around them is aware of their friendship, and they eventually decide to share an office space. To cut a long tale short, as their relationship progressed to the next level, they were confronted with a scenario that neither of them could avoid. The movie Vaashi shows how two persons living in the same premise battling a lawsuit learn to put their professional differences aside.
