Theru Malayalam revenge thriller movie set against the backdrop of a family story is directed by SJ Sinu. Features Amit Chakkalakal as the lead character after 'Djibouti' with Baburaj, Kalabhavan Shajon, and Vijayaraghavan. The movie Theru is produced by Joby P Sam under the banner of Nile & Blue Hill Moton Pictures the executive producer is Thomas P Mathew. Sanju Sivram, Prashanth Alexander, Sreejith Ravi, Pramod Velliyanad, Azees Nedumangad, Shafeeq, Sminu Sijo, Riya Saira, RJ Nilja (Nilja K Baby), Veena Nair, Suresh Babu are also playing important roles in the film. The screenplay and dialogues for the film Theru are written by Dinil PK. The chief associate director of the movie Theru is Anirudh Santhosh.

The film 'Theru' comes with the story of grudges and revenge of a group of people who are angry in front of the realities of life. An action-thriller film set against a family backdrop, the film focuses on the story of ordinary people who survive the fall of justice on the part of those who are supposed to uphold it. After 'Djibouti' actor Amit Chakkalakal and director SJ Sinu have teamed up. The title poster was unveiled thru social media on 1^st September 2021, and the shooting also commenced on the same day in compliance with the government's code of conduct. The first look poster of the movie was released on 10^th December 2021. The teaser of the movie 'Theru' was released on 20^th May 2022. The team thrills the audience with catchy dialogue 'Night duty is the real pulse for the police', and action scenes. The official trailer of Theru was released through Prithiraj's social media page on 24^th October 2022. The shooting of Theru took place in Palakkad and surrounding areas. The second teaser of the film Theru was released on 4^th January 2023.

The music for the film 'Theru' is composed by Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair.

Theru movie is released in the background of a family story and will hit the theaters on January 6^th of 2023 by Blue Hill Nael Communication.

Synopsis

The father of Hari, a young fellow, has always wished to see him as a police officer. His father frequently visits the post office to see whether the appointment order has been sent there. When his father was arrested by the police one day while traveling somewhere for not wearing a helmet, the humiliation that followed ultimately caused his father's death. Hari felt compelled to respond negatively to this, and the effects of his response are depicted in the film Theru.
