The refrain that girls' dreams fall apart after marriage is regular. But Anupama, the winner of this year's Mrs. India Icon beauty pageant, said that thought and said out loud, 'Girls, dream boldly'. Her success is a little brighter too. Anupama's success was reaped by hard work replacing the wounds of memories that had given her many bitter experiences in school and college due to being overweight. After years of hard work, Anupa lost 10 kg of weight through regular exercise. She was the third runner-up in the 2021 Mrs. Kerala pageant. Two titles in a month, her own place in the modeling industry, and a successful entrepreneur. The story of Anupa's hard work is very sweet. Although Anupa is originally from Kasaragod is an interior designer and online boutique owner based in Kochi.

Anupama said that although she was obsessed with modeling from an early age, and she weighed 70 kg when she was in seventh class and was ridiculed by people. She was involved in everything artistically during her school days, later took up a civil engineering course without interest, and then studied interior design out of a desire to study something creatively.
