Do not close cinema theaters: Malayala Chalachitra Preshaka Samithi
Kochi: The Malayala Chalachitra Preshaka Samithi has requested Saji Cheriyan, Minister of State for Culture, to reconsider the decision to close down cinema theaters in the state, raising concerns about the survival of filmmakers, theater workers, allied workers, and their dependents.
The online meeting was chaired by committee chairperson KJ Phillip. Convener CB Sumesh, Treasurer Ramesh Anappara, Hari Narayanan, Sumesh Thonniamala, Sivadasan Thavanur, and Arshad Kondotty spoke on the occasion.
