Iratta is a Malayalam thriller movie story written and directed by newcomer Rohit MG Krishnan. Features Joju George as the lead character in Iratta with Anjali, Srinda, Arya Salim, Sreekanth Murali, Sabumon Abdusamad, Abhiram, and others playing the lead roles. The movie Iratta is produced by Joju George, Martin Prakkat, and Sijo Vadakkan under the banners of Appu Pathu Productions and Martin Prakkat films. Vijay, who has worked with Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and Girish Gangadharan in the field of cinematography, is the DOP of the Iratta. The story and screenplay of the Iratta are written by the director Rohit MG Krishnan with the additional script of Sooraj-Neeraj and Martin Prakkat. Jithu Ashraf is the co-director of the movie.

After the huge acceptance of the lyrical video, the Iratta team released the video version of the song 'Puthiyorith'. The video version of the song is out on 7^th February 2023. After the first song 'Puthuthayorith', the second song 'Thaaraattayi Ee Bhumi' was released on 8^th February 2023. This song, which brought tears to the eyes of the audience in the climax scenes of the film, is sung by Shikha Prabhakaran, who entered the world of Malayalam film playback singer through "Star Singer". Synopsis

The protagonists of the crime drama are DYSP Pramod and ASI Vinod. A police officer's death is discovered to have occurred at the Vagamon police station, which was scheduled to host a program opened by the forest minister, a few minutes into the film. Vinod, the deceased police officer, was at the scene when Pramod quickly arrived. The scenario grew extremely uncomfortable as a result of the media and other people being present at the moment of the death and the police having a case against themselves.
