Aattam Malayalam movie is scripted and directed by Anand Ekarshi. Features Vinay Fort, Zarin Shihab, Kalabhavan Shajon, and Nandan Unni as the lead characters. The movie Aattam is produced by Dr. Ajith Joy under the banner of Joy Movie Productions, the fourth film from the house. Aattam introducing 9 new faces - Prasanth Madhavan, Santhosh Piravom, Sanosh Murali, Aji Thiruvamkulam, VR SelvarajRaghav, Sijin Sijeesh, Sudheer Babu, Jolly Antony, and Madan Babu K.

The chief associate director of the film 'Aattam' is Bichu and Pradeep Menon is the executive producer.

Zarin Shihab played prominent roles in the Bollywood movies Rashmi Rocket, India Lockdown, and the TV series The Family Man and Jugaadistan.

The title launch of the movie 'Attam' and the pooja was performed at Edappally Changampuzha Park on 3^rd April 2022. The title is designed by Gokul Deep.

The first look poster of 'Aattam' directed by Anand Ekarshi for Joy Movie Productions was unveiled on 11^th August 2023. The stills for the first look poster were snapped by Shaheen Thaha and the title poster designed by Gokul Deep M.

The music for the movie Aattam is composed by Basil CJ.

Aattam movie was released in theaters for the public on January 5, 2024.

Synopsis

Aattam's plot is centered around the theatre company Arangu. They are a professional theatre group featuring one female actor, twelve male performers, and one mentor. The most recent member of the gang, Hari, is a well-known actor from films, and his sudden rise to fame as the hero wasn't well received—especially by Vinay, the actor who had previously played the role. The events that take place when Anjali, the group's lone female member, accuses another member of molestation are depicted in the film. What the audience sees in Aattam is the group's collective response.
