Under the banner of Ashirwad Productions, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph's megahit duo '12th Man 'has become a national success for the third time. The Jeethu Joseph movie has been ranked in the top ten in India's list of most viewership hits released on Hotstar this year, almost three weeks after its release. '12th Man' was streamed by Disney Plus Hotstar on May 21^st, exactly one day before Mohanlal's 62^nd birthday. The film's cinematic excellence, in keeping with the presentation style and direction of Hollywood - French classic mystery films, has garnered rave reviews from critics and audiences internationally. The 12th movie has become the highest trending Malayalam movie on Twitter this year. The film has garnered rave reviews even from foreign countries.

Jeethu Joseph, who once again gave Mohanlal a magnificent birthday present with critical acclaim and audience acclaim, has been celebrated on a huge scale by Mohanlal fans online. Drishyam and Drishyam 2 were remade in the famous Chinese language at the Indian level of the thriller films that became a new milestone in the business equation of Malayalam cinema, including Pan India, which created a huge wave of all time. This is the second time this year that Aashirvad Cinemas has reached OTT success with Hotstar. In January, Mohanlal and Prithviraj teamed up again after Lucifer to release 'Bro Daddy', the second most-watched film in Hotstar's history in India. This year, Aashirvad Production is all set to release some very promising films in different genres like Monster, Alone: Real Heros Are Always Alone, and Barroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure. Apart from these, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph have teamed up again for the fourth time for the big-budget action thriller 'Ram'. According to reports, the cast and crew are preparing to go abroad for the final shoot without removing the uncertainties that have existed in the production due to Kovid issues for several days.

'12th Man ', which was set up as the main location of a hilly resort in Idukki, overcame many obstacles during the Kovid period and ended up shooting with a huge cast. A few scenes have also been shot in Ernakulam. Apart from Mohanlal, the film also stars Unni Mukundan, Saiju Kurup, Sivada, Anushree, Rahul Madhav, Anu Sithara, Leona Lishoi, Aditi Ravi, Priyanka Nair, Anu Mohan, Chandunath and Nandu. The film is shot by Satish Kurup and edited by VS Vinayak. Anil Johnson has composed the music for the film with lyrics written by Vinayak Sasikumar.
