Director Kannan Thamarakkulam won the Central Bharat Sevak Samaj Award

Central Bharat Sevak Samaj Award of National Development Agency under the Government Planning Commission of India this time for director Kannan Thamarakulam. Not only did he make his own mark in the television film industry with his own hard work without any godfathers, but he also overcame the crisis on his own. Bharat Sevak Samaj central Chairman Dr. BS Balachandran said that he was honored with the national award in recognition of his strong will and his active involvement in the field of Philanthropy. Kannan has also brought issues of social responsibility to the public through films like Pattabhiraman and Vidhi.
Kannan Thamarakulam received the award from BSS National Chairman Dr. BS Kannan came to know about the award like a double melody during the success celebrations of his new film Varaal. Kannan said that it was a great pleasure to receive the award on this occasion when Varaal's filmmaking was appreciated by the film world and the audience. Kannan Thamarakulam is a director who has established his own position in Malayalam cinema through hard work.
