Adipurush: Celebrating Victory of Good Over Evil Malayalam movie based on Ramayana is directed by Om Raut. Features Prabhas in and as the title character Adipurush with Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh. The film Adipurush is produced under the banners of T-Series Films and Retrophiles production of Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair.

The theme of the film Adipurush is the story of the Indian epic around the victory of goodness. The movie Adipurush is based on an Indian legend and is being made in 3D format. Prabhas plays the role of Sri Rama in Adipurush, the first film of the Om Raut and Prabhas collaboration. Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Ravana in the film Adipurush. Kriti Sanon is the heroine of the film and actor Sunny Singh is also playing the lead role in the film. After Saaho and Radhe Shyam, Prabhas' third project with producer Bhushan Kumar is Adipurush. Based on the very popular chapter of Indian culture, the movie Adipurush was shot in Hindi and Telugu. Besides, the film Adipurush will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, and other foreign languages also.

The film Adipurush's first look poster and teaser were released on 2^nd October 2022 at 7.11 pm in Ayodhya at a function on the banks of the Sarayu River. Prabhas announced this through his official social media page.

The music for the pan-Indian film Adipurush is composed by Ravi Basrur.

Adipurush movie was released in cinemas on June 16^th of 2023 in IMAX and 3D formats in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Initially, the movie Adipurush was planned to release in theatres on 11^th July 2022 and was postponed to a new date.

Synopsis

The plot is not too complicated. The woodland phase has already begun when the film begins, and Soorpanaka informs Raavan about Raghav (Ram) and Janaki (Sita). When Ravan visits Janaki while posing as a Saadhu, she is duped. What you witness in Adipurush is how Raghav takes her back with the aid of the Monkey Army.
