I am Kathalan is a Malayalam movie directed by Girish AD after the super hits of 2019 Thanneer Mathan Dinangal and 2022 Super Sharanya. Feature Naslen K Gafoor and Anishma Anilkumar in I am Kathalan as the lead characters. Dileesh Pothan, TG Ravi, Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Viswam, Lijo Mol, Kavita, Aishwarya and Vineeth Vasudevan are also in the lead cast. The movie I am Kathalan was produced by Paul Varghese and and Krishnamoorthy under the banner of Dr. Paul's Entertainment after the film "Oh Meri Laila". The screenplay for the film I am Kathalan is written by Sajin Cherukayil.

Sharan Velayudhan handles the cinematography and Akash Joseph does the editing. The chief associate director of the film is Rohith Chandrasekhar and Tinu Thomas is the co-producer.
