The trailer for the Tamil feature documentary 'Njan Revathi,' directed by photojournalist P. Abhijith, was published following the release of 'Antharam,' which received the State Film Award for Best Actress for trans woman Neha in the Women/Transgender category in Kerala. Social media users are responding well to the trailer. There was also an unprecedented response to the second look poster that was unveiled the other day. On May 12, the film will be shown in the Indian film competition area at the I. E. F. F. K. in Kozhikode. On June 5, it will be shown at the KASHISH Pride Film Festival, which is one of the biggest LGBTQ+ film festivals in South Asia, in Mumbai.

Through Revathi's story, the documentary examines the living circumstances of transgender individuals in India. Revathi received the Best Transgender 2025 State Award from Chief Minister MK Stalin. Njan Revathi was filmed in Namakkal, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Angamaly in two and a half years.

In "Njan Revathi," Abhijith is interpreting the life of transgender author, activist, and performer A Revathi. Revathi rose to fame with her autobiography, "The Truth About Me," which was published by Penguin Books. A Shobhila is the producer of Naam Revathi, which has been filming for about two and a half years across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.
