Filming for the highly anticipated pan-Indian movie "Kathiravan" is about to begin

Kathiravan Malayalam movie is directed by young filmmaker Arun Raj. The film Kathiravan features action hero Siju Wilson, who will play Ayyankali. The film is being produced by Jagathambi Krishna under the Thara Productions label. The action-packed movie is Tara Productions' debut production. The story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film Kathiravan are prepared by theater artist cum screenwriter Pradeep Thamarakulam.

Vinayan is the chief associate director of the film. Filming for the big-budget, pan-Indian film Kathiravan, which narrates the life of the Renaissance hero Mahatma Ayyankali, is about to begin. For the movie, director Arun Raj also handles the camera.

Arun Raj, the first Malayali and Indian director to win the American Primus Global Achievement Award for Best Cinematography (Memory of Murder) at an International Film Festival, has directed two films. In addition to being the director of Edwinte Naamam, Arun Raj also served as the cinematographer for Welcome To Pandimala. The filmmaker stated that more information cannot be released at this time because there are ongoing conversations regarding the movie. The filmmaker went on to say that he is not interested in further pointless talks and that there is no question that Mammootty will play Kathiravan.

Bijibal is the composer of the soundtrack for the high-profile movie Kathiravan. Sathyan Komeri and Harinarayanan wrote the lyrics.

Initially, the movie was announced with Mammootty portraying the historical figure Mahatma Ayyankali. The movie Kathiravan is being produced by four young non-resident Malayalam entrepreneurs under the banner of Dream Land Production House. Director Arunraj stated that he is too occupied with Kathiravan to address the caste-related accusations. Arunraj had earlier posted a photo of himself with Mammootty to Instagram with the message, "Baki Bakhpe." Arunraj responded to the remarks made in this post that also denigrated caste. Mammootty is a man who openly identifies as a Pulayan and views everyone equally, irrespective of caste or religion. In response, Arunraj stated that there is no issue for him or his movie because of this. Subsequently, the director arrived on the scene and declared that Mammootty was the film's protagonist.
