Odiyankkam Malayalam movie is based on Odiyapuranam, a popular short film on YouTube written and directed by Sunil Subramanian. The film Odiyankkam features Sreejith Panikar, Nisha Rathi, Anjay Anil, Gopinath, Soja, Vandhana, Peesappilly Rajeevan, and Sreemoolanagaram Ponnan in key roles. The movie Odiyankkam was produced by Mudaliar Pravinkumar under the banner of Shree Mahalakshmi Enterprises in association with Swasthik Vinayak Creations. (ads)

Abhijith Abhilash handled the cinematography of Odiyankkam, and Sheik Afzal was the production designer. Ravi Vasudev is the chief associate director.

Odiyankkam: The untold story of Odiyan, which has published its first look poster on 14 March 2025. The YouTube sensation short film Odiyapuranam is being turned into a movie. 'Odiyapuranam' team members are also working together on this movie.

The birth of the first Odiyan, recorded in history, marks the beginning of the "Odiyangam" tale. The presentation of "Odiyangam" to the audience emphasizes sound and imagery while blending love and retaliation.

Rijosh is composing the music for the film Odiyankkam.

Filming has started in Thrissur for the Sunil Subramanian-scripted and directed movie Odiyankkam.
