"Anglo-Indians" to a different-themed theater
The creative head of Anglo-Indians is Mummy Century, and the executive producer is Bhaskaran Vettilappara. Arjun Devaraj is the associate director.
The first Malayalam film to fully portray the life of Anglo-Indian families has finished filming in Alappuzha, Thumpoly, and Perumbavoor. Mummy Century is the creative force behind this movie, which is being produced, written, and directed by the well-known AKB Kumar.
Andrea, a stunning Anglo-Indian girl, is the subject of the movie. Andrea, who resides in Kerala with her father, Peter, dreamed of being married to Roshan and moving to the United States to live with him. New American laws jeopardized Roshan's employment. Roshan had to wed his uncle's daughter in order to keep his career. Andrea's hope was dashed. Andrea was financially ruined; she had even quit her job to travel to America. She was likewise affected by her sister's misfortune. Bijoy, a young man, recently moved into the area with his mother. Andrea began to fall in love with Bijoy after becoming drawn to him. Her life was beginning anew. However, misfortunes persisted in plaguing her. Peter, the main character in this movie, will be played by Bhaskaran Vettilappara, who made his acting debut in the movie Maamaram. Peter, a father of two girls, will be adored by family-oriented Malayalis.
According to director AKB Kumar, this Malayalam film, which shows the lives of Anglo-Indian family members, would be a first.
The music of Anglo-Indians is composed by PK Bash.
On June 12, 2026, Anglo Indians, the first Malayalam movie to accurately depict the life of Anglo-Indian families, will be released in theaters.
Synopsis
The narrative centers around Heroine Andrea, a private company employee. Her father and her sister, who is pursuing a degree, make up her family since she lost her mother at a young age. They live in a rented home and struggle with poverty.
