Marshal is a grand period action drama scripted and directed by Tamizh. The film features Karthi as the lead with the Malayali favorite Kalyani Priyadarshan as Karthi's heroine. Dream Warrior Pictures of SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu, in collaboration with IVY Entertainment, is producing the big-budget movie Marshal. In addition to Karthi and Kalyani, the main characters in Marshal will include Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Lal, John Kokken, Easwari Rao, and others.

Marshal's music is being composed by Sai Abhyankkar. Arun Venjaramoodu is the production designer, Philomin Raj is the editor, and Sathyan Sooryan is the DOP of the movie. Ishan Saksena is the co-producer.

The big budget film Marshal starring Karthi, following the success of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Kaithi, and director Tamizh of Taanakkaran fame was recently announced at Chennai. In the great period action drama Marshal, set in Rameshwaram, Karthi will play the lead role. The 29^th film of Karthi, titled 'Marshal' on 10 July 2025.

Extensive sets that replicate Rameswaram in the 1960s will be used in the movie. In Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, Marshall will be released nationwide.
