The first science fiction animated film in Sanskrit, Dhee
Ravishankar Venkateswaran is the director, while Puppetica Media is the producer
In India, Dhee is the first science fiction animated movie made entirely in Sanskrit. Following Punyakoti, India's first Sanskrit animated feature that took home multiple international prizes, Puppetica Media developed Dhee. Four ANN awards for best animated films have gone to Punyakoti.
Ravishankar Venkateswaran, the director of Dhee, rose to international prominence as a result of Punyakoti's success and the audience's support after it was made available on Netflix in 2020. The most notable aspect of the film, which is now in development, is that every person behind the scenes is Malayali.
Following years of investigation and analysis, the film is supported by the top animation team in India, artificial intelligence, and the most cutting-edge animation technologies available worldwide. Former Infosys executive Ravishankar contributes 30 years of media and animation industry experience to this movie.
