Synopsis

Hope is a film that examines the idea that trust in a higher power can alter the trajectory of our lives and that there are occurrences in our environment for which science may not be able to provide an explanation. Dr. John Abraham, the main character, is a well-known and financially motivated doctor. He believes that science can solve every problem that arises in human life. Leo and Rachael, together with his wife Sarah, make up his family. He pushes his kids too hard to succeed since he has very high expectations for their future. His relationship with his children is strained as a result.
Leo is paralyzed from the waist down after being hit by lightning on a tragic day. In order to heal his son and restore his ability to walk, Dr. John turns to contemporary medicine. However, his efforts were futile. Leo finds it difficult to accept his fate and is confined to a wheelchair. Sarah prays for Leo's recovery and tries her best to care for him. However, Dr. John refuses to confront Leo because he believes he is a failure. ~~(ads)~~ Leo is encouraged by Philip, Sarah's brother, to start reading the Bible and find solace in the passages of promise and love. Leo gradually begins to benefit from the Bible and gains mental fortitude. He is magically cured of his illness one day, and he firmly thinks that God's might is responsible. As a result, Dr. John's perspective on life and God shifts. He started studying the Bible fervently in an effort to discover the real force underlying his son's recovery.
The death of his patients was one of the things that always troubled Dr. John in his medical career. He was always curious about what occurs after death. Through the tale of the rich man and Lazarus, Dr. John was able to find answers to his questions in the Bible. He also learned that heaven and hell exist. Dr. John was no longer able to work at a hospital where profit was the primary goal after learning all of this. He then moves to Khavodi and resigns.
