Meow is a Malayalam desert family drama movie directed by Lal Jose and scripted by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram. Soubin Shahir and Mamta Mohandas in the lead roles. Salim Kumar is also playing an important role. Apart from them, Harishree Yusuf and three children are also featuring. Another main character is a young Russian girl named Yasmina. The movie is entirely filmed in the Gulf region. Thomas Thiruvalla is the producer, cinematography by Ajmal Sabu and music composed by Justin Varghese ('Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela', 'Thanneer Mathan Dinangal')

This is the fourth screenplay by Iqbal for Laljose after the super hit films 'Arabikkatha', 'Diamond Necklace' and 'Vikramadithyan'. Parts of the films were shot in the Gulf. The third film 'Vikramadithyan' was shot only in Kochi.

Meow Malayalam movie tells the story of Dusthackeer, a grocer who runs Sulu Minimart a grocery store, and his wife and three children. The theme of the new film is a diverse family background.

Shooting starts on December 14^th, 2020 in Ras al Khaimah, UAE. Title poster released on December 19^th, 2020. LJ Films release the movie in theaters.
