Gold Malayalam movie is written and directed by Alphonse Puthren. Features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the lead characters. The movie Gold is produced by Supriya Menon under the banner of Prithviraj Production and Listin Stephen of Magic Frames.

Director Alphonse Putran's earlier films are 2013 bilingual 'Neram' and the 2015 super hit 'Premam'.

The music of the movie Gold is composed by Rajesh Murugeshan with the lyrics by Shabareesh Varma.

Gold movie was released in theatres on December 1^st of 2022. The movie was initially planned to release in 2022 Onam and was postponed due to not completion of postproduction works. The film Gold's overseas partner is Truth Global Films of Samad Truth. The world television premiere of the 'Gold' movie airs on Surya TV soon.

Synopsis

Joshy runs a smartphone market and is engaged to be married soon. He one day discovers a Bolero parked in front of his entrance with a cargo of speakers. Joshy went to the police station to make a complaint since the vehicle was blocking the entrance to his house and no one was in it. What we witness in Gold are the subsequent events and the mystery surrounding the Bolero.
