EMI Malayalam movie started streaming

EMI Malayalam movie is written and directed by Jobi John. Features Sunil Sugatha, Jayan Cherthala, Shai Shankar, Dr. Rony, MR Gopakumar, Manju Patros, Munshi Harindrakumar, Clement Kuttan, Yami Sona, Gitanjali, Chitra, Divya, KP Prasad, Neetu Alappuzha, Shaji Panicker, Cobra Rajesh, Joby John, Ranjith Chengamanadu, Babu Kalabhavan, Ratheesh Kollam, Sanjay Raj, Akhil, Rajesh Wayanad, Abijoy, KP Suresh, Elson, Vinod, Darshana, Somaraj and Archu are in the cast list. The movie is produced by the director Joby himself under the banner of Joji Films.

EMI movie sheds light on the lives of Malayalees who depend on loans even for small things. The story has haunted Joby John's mind for years.

Jayan Cherthala, who excelled in villain roles, will be seen in the role of a farmer named Thomas. Yami Sona, who played the lead role in Udumbu, Aaraattu, Bhoomiyile Manohara Swakaryam, and Ente Mazha, is the heroine of the movie.

Malayalees are in the habit of taking bank loans even to buy a mobile phone and private banks are competing to capitalize on this weakness. When a bank makes a profit, the Malayalees, who find it difficult to pay their monthly EMIs, are finally ready to end their lives. EMI is a movie that goes through the life problems of the modern-day Malayalees.

Famous singer Vijay Yesudas is returning to Malayalam by singing in the movie. Adivasi Nanjiyamma, a folk singer also sang a Malayalam song for the first time.

Director Joby John started Joji Films to commemorate his brother Joji, who died prematurely.

The movie has started shooting in and around Thiruvananthapuram.

EMI movie which tells the story of a young man who has turned into a bank loan was released in theaters on June 24^th of 2022.

Synopsis

Sijo Mathew's father Varghese was a swindler and an alcoholic. However, the Sijo family did well. Suddenly he had to face some financial problems and he approached private banks to get rid of it. With that, the rhythm of Sijo's life changed. Similarly, an ordinary farmer named Thomas, who is struggling for his livelihood takes a loan from a private bank and is on the verge of suicide as he is unable to pay his EMI.
